Omnio Lamp is an entire lighting studio in your hands

Versatile yet portable, packed with features and made of quality materials, Omnio Lamp is a lamp you will use daily to bring studio level lighting to all levels of photography. Via crowdfunding, the company, Difference Design, is raising funds to finish production and open a new horizon in traditional professional lighting by creating highly effective, yet affordable professional lamps.

Tallinn, Estonia, 2018-Jun-13 — /EPR ELECTRONICS NEWS/ — Omnio Lamp (www.omniolamp.com) is a professional lighting studio on the go. The lamp is portable, adaptable, light weight and packed with features, making it an entire studio-on-the-go. Omnio Lamp was unveiled today on Indiegogo and is raising funds for mass production with a goal of delivering highly-effective, yet affordable tool for professional lighting.

Designed with every professional’s needs in mind, the lamp unifies multiple lighting instruments into a single, high quality unit. Like no other lamp, Omnio Lamp has 4 pivoting arms, built-in barn doors, 264 high quality LEDs providing a staggering 4200 Lumens of professional, flicker-free light, and a CRI of 98.9 for skin tones.

Four rotating arms give soft light from four different sides simultaneously. When its barn doors are inverted, each arm gives 2 rays of light in opposite directions: one direct and sharp, and the other reflected and highly diffused, enabling ‘painting’ with light and shadows. Equipped with a standard mounting socket for tripods, holders and hooks, the lamp is designed to be on-the go, adaptable, maneuverable and practical.

“Whether you are a professional or otherwise just a passionate photographer, videographer, blogger, journalist, designer, seller, or an admirer of great design – Omnio Lamp fulfills all of your lighting needs and demands. We created a solution for the common problem of achieving versatility without sacrificing quality,” said Omnio Lamp’s inventor, Branimir Souc. “Omnio Lamp liberates you from multiple light sources and helps you get better results from a single source of light.”

A programmable and intuitive 12-button display enables accurate control of brightness and color temperature with the push of a button. Made of rigid industrial materials and custom electronics, the lamp is light weight, foldable, and easily charged.

The company has tapped into the science of light as a catalyst for innovating an effective and affordable solution for professional lighting. Omnio Lamp cuts the need for multiple lighting sources and covers a range of tasks with one product.

For anything requiring light, Omnio Lamp provides a specific (and perfect) setting: Interview, photo or video shoot, advanced portrait photography, object shoot, reading or working, outdoor filming or beautiful decor.

Professional, multifunctional yet practical and affordable, Omnio Lamp brings a new perspective on how to perceive and use light in photography.

Co-operative Electrical Beats The Postal Strike

CUSTOMERS have no need to worry about the effects of the Royal Mail workers’ strike when they order goods from the Co-operative Electrical.

That’s because the company always uses either its own dedicated delivery teams, or a private courier firm, to handle all deliveries.

Not only does this mean that deliveries are unaffected by the current industrial action by Royal Mail staff, but also that Co-operative Electrical can offer its customers a delivery service which is more tailored to their needs.

For instance, for all major kitchen appliances such as cookers and Large LCD TVs, the company offers a Rapid Delivery service, using its own dedicated delivery team. They will deliver to customers, place the item in the room where it is required, unpack it, and take away all the packaging to be recycled.

“We take our commitment to our customers one stage further, by offering to remove their old appliances in certain instances, saving them the trouble of having to make other arrangements,” said Co-operative Electrical’s Sales Manager Chris Barker..

On these larger items, Co-operative Electrical also offers customers a guaranteed delivery time slot, confirmed by email and text message the day before delivery is due to be made.

Customers ordering many smaller appliances recieve a delivery service by private courier, again bypassing Royal Mail. For this service, Co-operative Electrical uses a highly reputable courier company, and if ordered before 5pm, items in stock at the time of order will usually be delivered on the next working day Of course, this means that customers can be sure that if they’re ordering for Christmas, goods will be delivered in time, wherever they are required.

For full details of great prices and offers on a wide range of top-brand electrical goods, and of Co-operative Electrical’s delivery services and charges, go to http://www.coopelectricalshop.co.uk/.

Merlin Digital Will Attend Digital Consumer Channel (DCC) MEA 2009 With A Lifestyle Technology Product Range

Merlin Digital will attend Digital Consumer Channel (DCC) MEA 2009 with a lifestyle technology product range that the company claims represents some of the most innovative consumer electronics kit available in the market today. Merlin reckons that its products also offer retailers a compelling margin proposition and a solid growth opportunity during the current economic conditions.

Rohit Bachani, group head MENA region at Merlin, said: “Associating with the Merlin brand lends an image of being at the cutting edge to the participating retailer. Merlin products have proven to be best sellers in their categories at international super stores such as Dubai Duty Free, Plug-Ins, Carrefour and CompuMe to name a few.”

“New innovative products tend to be recession proof, a fact that can be proven, with Merlin sales in the region looking to grow a healthy 15% to 20% in a slowing economy. Merlin resellers enjoy healthy margins and industry leading retail and marketing support, ensuring that a very profitable partnership is created between Merlin and its resellers,” Bachani added.

Merlin plans to increase brand awareness at DCC MEA, explain the breadth of its product portfolio and target potential retail partners in new geographies. The company will also look for feedback from its existing partners as it attempts to lay the foundations for continued growth in the region.

“The MEA market does not seem to have suffered to the same extent from the global crisis as many other geographic locations. We expect growth all through the MEA region for the Merlin range due to a very competitive product mix and young target population,” continued Bachani.

Merlin reckons that its products have a novelty effect, which can act as a magnet for foot traffic within a retail outlet. Merlin’s portfolio covers a wide range of product areas including storage products, boys’ toys and high-technology gifts, car multimedia and bluetooth products, digital photo frames, iPhone accessories and iPod accessories and laptop stands plus much more.

“Merlin does have a professional channel programme- with very attractive margins at every step in the chain including our distributors and our retail partners. We have seen the margins that our partners make on competitor products and Merlin stands out very favourably, not just on the margins, but also on other essentials such as warranty, product support and training and marketing,” explained Bachani.

Merlin offers full merchandising support to retail partners and continues to launch new products on an ongoing basis. Full details of new products are made available on the company’s e-commerce enabled website – www.merlin-digital.com – often accompanied by video clips. Merlin’s business in the MEA region continues to grow at 15% per annum despite the current economic conditions.

“Our company is known for treating our channels as true partners in the marketing sense. We are very responsive to their business needs – adjusting our targets and margins as per the market sensitivities,” concluded Bachani.

ICT and CE-focused retailers and vendors from across the Middle East will gather next month at the fifth annual Digital Consumer Channel (DCC) Middle East & Africa (MEA) event, which will take place from May 19th to 21st 2009. The region’s premier event for the consumer electronics (CE), communications and ICT retail channel continues to go from strength to strength, offering a compelling mix of one-on-one meetings, conference sessions, awards and networking opportunities for retailers, distributors and vendors.

Retailers will have the opportunity to review the latest products from the 50-plus vendors set to attend this year’s event. With retailers attending from 15-plus countries, attending DCC MEA offers vendors insight into markets across the region and the opportunity to accelerate or improve their go-to-market retail strategy.

The ‘Middle East Retail Academy: 2009 Awards’ Gala Dinner and live voting session will also take place at DCC MEA on 20th May 2009. The awards recognise excellence in the region’s consumer electronics and IT retail channel. A total of 22 awards are up for grabs in 2009 with categories for vendors, retailers and distributors.

Long-Distance Performance Significantly Improved By The New Belden Brilliance Low Loss Plenum RG-11 Precision Digital Video Coax

Belden (NYSE: BDC), a world leader in the development of signal transmission solutions for the enterprise, industrial, building management, broadcast, and security markets, announces the launch of its new and improved Plenum-rated RG-11 Precision Digital Video Coaxial Cable – Product No 7732LL. Market applications for the new plenum cable include television broadcast studios, TV and video production, post-production facilities and field applications, HD-for-film production, video editing, distribution and duplication.

The new 7732LL cable offers significant performance enhancements over Belden’s previous plenum-rated version (Product No 7732A), especially when deployed in long cable runs for high definition video (HD-SDI) or 1080p/60 applications. In fact, Brilliance 7732LL now offers the longest transmission distance in the industry, matching the performance of Belden’s non-plenum SDI/HDTV Digital Video cables (7731A). In addition, Belden’s 7732LL cables carry Belden’s industry-leading Return Loss guarantee of: -23 dB 5 MHz to 1.6 MHz, and -21 dB from 1.6 GHz to 4.5 GHz – making it the only plenum RG-11 cable in the industry with this level of guaranteed Return Loss performance.

Steve Lampen, Belden’s Multimedia Technology Manager, notes: “The new Brilliance 7732LL cable represents a breakthrough development in extending the signal transmission distance of plenum-rated copper video cables, without having to install fiber optic cabling. As digital video progressed from SDI to HD-SDI and now to 1080p/60 and 1080p/50 (3G), these applications have placed greater length constraints on copper cables, especially plenum-rated. With this new product, the distance differential between plenum and non-plenum cables has been eliminated.”

The new Belden Brilliance Plenum-Rated RG-11/U Type Precision Digital Video Coaxial Cables feature a 14 AWG solid bare copper conductor, Duofoil + 95% Tinned Copper Braid Shield, PTFE insulation and fluorocopolymer jacket. They are available in ten colors, including Black, Brown, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet, Gray and Natural.
